Although none of the Coca-Cola Family drivers got the checkered flag at the Coca-Cola Zero 400 in Daytona today, The Coca-Cola Company is still giving away free 20 oz Coca-Cola Zero to anyone who visits the Coca-Cola Zero website: http://www.cocacolazero.com to redeem the prize via MyCokeRewards.com

Limit is one coupon per person. All U.S. residents 13 years of age or older are eligible. Coupons for free 20-ounce bottles of Coke Zero will be redeemable until September 1, 2008 at participating retailers across the country where Coca-Cola products are sold.

Coca-Cola Buys Water from Carlsberg Print E-mail

Carlsberg and The Coca-Cola Company have entered into an agreement about extending their cooperation in Denmark and Finland. Per the agreement, The Coca-Cola Company acquires Carlsberg’s mineral water brands Kildevæld and Kurvand in Denmark and enters into a license agreement for Ramlösa in Denmark. In Finland, The Coca-Cola Company acquires the soft drink brand Hyvää Päivää and enters into a license agreement for the energy drink Battery in Finland. Total value of the transaction is USD 225 million (DKK 1.1 billion).

Coca-Cola Invests in Kenya Print E-mail

The Coca-Cola East and Central Africa Limited has announced plans to invest over three billion shillings (US$50 million) in capital expenditure in Kenya. The investments include new production lines to increase bottling capacity at Nairobi Bottlers Limited. Training of the employees using the new machinery prior to live production is underway. A commission ceremony is planned.

The Coca-Cola Company announced today a new coffee energy drink, Full Throttle Coffee, will be launched in the U.S. Pacific Northwest and Southeast regions this month before rolling out nationally in August 2008. Made with 100 percent premium Colombian Arabica coffee and Full Throttle's energy and vitamin blend, the new beverage will be sold in 15-ounce aluminum cans and in three flavors: mocha, vanilla and caramel. Packaging for Full Throttle Coffee Caramel will be bilingual, featuring both English and Spanish. The tagline for Full Throttle Coffee is: "Coffee. Full Charged."
