Coca-Cola to Sell Korean Bottling to LG Print E-mail

Coca-Cola Amatil is close to finalizing the selling of its Korean bottling operation to LG Household & Health Care in Korea. LG plans to use the purchase to launch into the green tea and health-focused beverage business. Revenue in South Korea's beverage industry has declined for the past two years because of slower demand and higher costs.

Enviga Makes National Debut Print E-mail

The controversial calorie-burning green tea beverage from Beverage Partners Worldwide, a joint-venture between the Coca-Cola Company and Nestle, is going nationwide this week. Three flavors of Enviga: green tea, berry and peach, will be available on store shelves at convenience stores, supermarkets and drugstores. Enviga is sold in individual 12-ounce sleek cans as well as 6-can and 12-can multi-packs. Suggested retail price for Enviga will be US$1.29 - US$1.49 (single can). Enviga was first launched in November 2006 in New York City, New Jersey and Philadelphia.

Coca-Cola At the Table Print E-mail

Coca-Cola North America is planning a new television ad, called “At The Table,” will make its global debut, airing during select family programming such as ESPN and ABC’s college football broadcasts during Thanksgiving weekend, and on ABC’s broadcast of “The Polar Express” on 2007-11-30. Another new spot, titled “Around The Table,” is currently running in several local U.S. markets and features the family dinner table as the literal focal point of the spot. These ads are part of the global "Coke Side of Life" theme. In addition, the popular animated commercial "Arctic Beach Party" featuring polar bears and penguins will also return for this Holiday season in 2007.

Simply Apple and Simply Grapefruit Print E-mail

Simply Orange Juice Company announced today the addition of two new products Simply line: Simply Apple and Simply Grapefruit. Both juices will begin shipping to retailers in mid-September. Simply Apple and Simply Grapefruit are packaged in the unique 59 fl. oz. clear Simply carafe, with a suggested retail price of $3.49 and $3.89 respectively.
