The Mid-Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company is moving its 40-year-old 16-foot-tall Coke bottle from its original home at the Frederick, Maryland plant to Hagerstown, Maryland.  The giant Coca-Cola bottle has been an icon on North Main Street since the 1960s.  After the closing of the Frederick plant last year with some of the employees transferred to Hagerstown, the iconic bottle is also moving to its new home.  Pending permits from the city and engineering analysis of the plant roof, the bottle will be stored for the time being.
