President of Sacramento Coca-Cola Bottling Dies Print E-mail

Ronald L. Sellers, president and chief executive officer of Sacramento Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Inc. (SCCBC), died at age 60 Tuesday 2007-09-25 at Sutter General Hospital in Sacramento, California. Sellers became president of SCCBC after his aunt Virgina R. Roper retired in 1991. Seller's grandfather Nathan founded SCCBC in 1927 when he acquired the rights to sell Coca-Cola in most of northern California north of San Francisco. Locally owned and operated, SCCBC had become the 9th largest Coca-Cola bottler in the US.
